Amanda Pollack is a born and raised New Yorker. She has always loved the way pictures, sound and music work together to tell stories, and believes that her affinity for music and sense of rhythm contribute greatly to her craft of editing. Credits include the MTV’s Skins, FX Network’s Lights Out, HBO’s In Treatment, and FX Network’s critically acclaimed series, The Americans.
Throughout her career in feature films, Amanda has had the good fortune to work with an impressive list of directors including Terry Gilliam, Ang Lee, Sidney Pollack, Barry Levinson, Martin Brest, and Robert Altman.
Amanda also earned an Additional Music Editor credit on the film The Devil Wears Prada. Working with director David Frankel, Amanda found many of the songs and edited much of the temp score.
Amanda feels very fortunate to have edited on all six seasons of FX’s “The Americans”.She is currently cutting season 3 of CBS All Access series “The Good Fight”.
