BuzzKill - directed by Steven Kampmann starring Daniel Raymont, Krysten Ritter, and Darrell Hammond - signed with Lantern Lane Entertainment (My Big Fat Geek Wedding, Monster) for distrubution. CEC's Cinematographer Stephen Treadway worked on the project. |
Director of Photography Austin Schmidt leaves for Africa today! He is shooting a documentary titled AfricaOne. Costume Designer Melissa Bruning is working on the Taylor Hackford feature Love Ranch starring Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci. Director of Photography Jeffery T. Brown is working on the film Nice Town starring Angie Stone. January the 9th Production Designer Travis Zariwny started work on the feature film Wake. Production Designer Laura Hyman and Costume Designer Amy Bradshaw are currently in prep on The Undying.

CEC congratulates Mary Margaret O'Neill on giving birth yesterday November 4, 2007 to a beautiful and healthy baby girl Sophia Elizabeth , the newest member of our growing family. Sophia weighs 8lbs and 4oz and is 20 1/2 inches long.
The CEC family welcomes Line Producer Michael D. Jones. He has worked on projects such as Elephant, The Guardian, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, and Spiral. His most recent projects are Management starring Jennifer Aniston, Follow the Profit, and Lockdown. See bio and resume for more details.

Costume Designer Melissa Bruning just wrapped the feature film "Five Dollars a Day" starring Christopher Walken, Allessandro Nivola, Sharon Stone, and Amanda Peet.
Cinematographer Patrick Donnelly recently hit the streets with Rilo Kiley and shot a video of the band playing their song "The Moneymaker" live. You can watch the video at MTV's Artist of the Week.

Jendra Jarnagin became the first woman in the world to shoot with the highly anticipated RED digital camera while participating in some test shoots for OffHollywood Studios. Steadicam Operator Afton Grant also participated. His Steadicam became the first ever to fly and shoot with the new camera after the RED's initial delivery. |

in the NY Daily News. It will have its world debut in the 8th Annual Hollywood Black Film Festival.
CEC welcomes to our roster Jendra Jarnagin. Jendra recently completed Additional Photography on the feature film The Wreck, shot on the Grass Valley Viper Filmstream camera. Also shot on the Viper, her Diet Coke cinema commercial was showcased by Thomson Grass Valley at their NAB press event. Jendra was honored to serve as a panelist on the DP Round Table at this year’s NAB conference in Las Vegas.

CEC’s very own Jeffrey T. Brown, cinematographer for Plain White T’s Video “Hey There Delilah,” won 2007’s 16th Annual MVPA Award for Best Video Produced for Under $25,000. Congrats to Jeffrey!
