Stephanie Angel is an ambitious and talented script supervisor and filmmaker.
Over the past five years, Stephanie has been the script supervisor on twelve features; the latest being “Harold” directed by T. Sean Shannon, starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Spencer Breslin, Nikki Blonsky, Ally Sheedy and Fred Willard. Stephanie has also script supervised three dozen mainstream commercials. Stephanie began her script supervising career in 2003 as a trainee on “The Bridge of San Luis Rey,” starring Robert De Niro, Kathy Bates, Harvey Keitel and F. Murray Abraham. The script supervisor is responsible for keeping continuity on the set, she works closely with the Director and takes detailed digital notes for the editor. Prior to that, she was a casting assistant on the A&E television series “100 Centre Street,” directed by Sidney Lumet and an apprentice on “The Believer,” the Grand Jury Prize winner at the Sundance Film Festival in 2001.
Stephanie’s directorial debut that she also wrote, “Tree of Life,” premiered at the Westchester film festival in 2005.
In 2003, Stephanie received a B.A. from Muhlenberg College, where she was on the Dean’s List. While there, she self-designed two majors, “Film Expression” and “Spiritual Thought.” Stephanie designed these majors with the goal being to work on inspiring films.
