Satoko Ichinose    [ resume ]

Satoko Ichinose is originally from Japan where she first developed her interest in beauty and art starting at a very early age. After receiving her cosmetology license in 1998, Satoko began working at renowned makeup artist Shu Uemura's Atelier Salon, building her skills as a makeup artist and hair stylist in Japan. Satoko refined her work in TV, film and theatrical makeup at the College Lasalle Inter-Dec, Montreal, receiving their Makeup Artist Diploma in 2003. Satoko then moved to New York continuing her education at the National Academy School of Fine Arts (2003-2005) where she acquired her technique in sculpture and prosthetic design.

For more than ten years Satoko has worked to create her own world of color and excitement, collaborating professionally with many accomplished international artists in TV, commercials, film and theater. Aside from her extensive makeup skills, she also has strong hair styling experience including basic salon work, cutting, coloring, and creative wig-making. Satoko is passionate about her work and continues to explore new perspectives in our standards of beauty.
