Lynn Campbell   [ resume ]

A native of Michigan, Lynn Campbell was interested in art since childhood, and has been painting since she was old enough to hold a pencil. Wanting to fulfill her artistic ambitions, Lynn left the United States and journeyed to England to study Aromatherapy. She now utilizes her knowledge of plants, plant oils, and organic and natural products for her clients' skincare.

After England, Lynn continued on to Italy where she further broadened her artistic horizons by studying Fresco painting just outside of Rome. She married an Italian and became an Italian citizen.

Still growing as an artist, Lynn went on to study Medical Illustration and became a certified reflexologist. Her Medical Illustration background helps inform her makeup jobs, especially special effects work.

Next, Lynn began working in the fashion print business for the German edition of the world famous "Elle" magazine. 10 years later, Lynn made the transition into television. Her first big break was as makeup artist for actress Lauren Bacall, whom she still works with and is friends with to this day.

Now an industry veteran, Lynn has been in the film and television business for almost 20 years. She is known for her natural style and approach to beauty makeup, and is credited with transforming the looks of characters on television's Sex in the City during its second season, for which she received an Emmy nomination. She has done personal makeup for stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Harvey Keitel, Susan Sarandon, Willem Dafoe, and many more. Lynn's other notable television credits include Project Runway and Spin City. Lynn has also worked on large-budget Hollywood hits including Spiderman 2, Meet Joe Black, and Independence Day, as well as the award-winning independent film Transamerica, for which she received an Oscar nomination.
